Ok I guess now is as good a time as any to make a discussion forum for this to get the word out!
During a live letter a few months ago, they mentioned a Fan Fest world tour that will be happening some time in Oct. of this year. While there is still no official info out on it yet, a lot of us are planning on using this event as an opportunity to plan a big FC meet up.
Back in 2006, a lot of the original HK from XI met up at Otakon in Baltimore and we had a blast! So we're really looking forward to doing something similar again. Also, Ben and I went to one of the XI Fan Fests in 2007 (iirc) because we lived close, and it was really fun to meet a lot of people on the server from other linkshells, and the developer panel was really neat + got to preview a bunch of content for the ToAU expansion.
Anyhoo, the purpose of this thread is to just get the info out there for people, if you might be interested in going, it gives us all time to save up and plan for it so it's not as big of a hit on the wallet :)
I'll probably go! I never went to any of the Fan fest things for 11. I played that game for over 8 years I think. I'll might drag the spouse with me. lol
